The knowledge of Stefan Schröder, Chief Cameraman at TVN and Thomas Nowara, Managing Director of SCHNITTPUNKT is directly incorporated into the development and improvement of the lights. This unique collaboration aims to develop the best lights for the professional sector.

Conclusion:	P1. The power of the lamp is – compared to the size of the lamp – just fine. P2. The power is equal with an Arri C500, as shown in the pictures. P3. The light distribution in the illuminated area is constant and regular, even more constant than the Arri L5 (see image). P4. The colors are absolutely fine, but that is standard quality nowadays. P5. The way of the cable downwards (to the ground) is practical. In this way, the lamp is a little shorter (so it can stand more closely to a wall for instance) and the cable doesn’t have a crinkle, like many other lamps have. The focusing range is not wide, but in the wide angle absolutely fine and in the Tele not quite as good as the Arri, but never the less ok.

„Wir hatten die Möglichkeit für eine Interviewsituation im Rahmen unseres Projekts das Spotlight von Thomas Nowara auszuprobieren. Wir nutzen das Licht dabei als Spitze(Spitzlicht), hinter dem Interviewpartner, um Ihn besser von Hintergrund abzuheben. Alle Beteiligten waren schnell überzeugt von dem Licht, da es sehr gut fokussierbar und dazu noch stufenlos dimmbar ist. Unkompliziert in der Handhabung und auch ohne Anleitung selbsterklärend. Die ebenfalls verfügbare rein akkubetriebene Variante wurde dabei nicht getestet, da Stromanschlüsse in der Location vorhanden waren. Alles in allem war der Test überzeugend und das Spotlight kann, im Rahmen seiner Möglichkeiten, ohne Vorbehalte weiterempfohlen werden.“
